I've gotten feedback that the message below has resulted in no more clay birds being shot. Very cool!
And more good news. The pavilion roof structure that was by the clubhouse has been relocated near the Hi-Power & Rimfire rifle ranges. Please be mindful that this structure is to get out of rain and so forth. It IS NOT to be used as a shooting shelter. The Powers That Be have stated that any person observed shooting a firearm from this structure (or from anywhere not on the dedicated firing line) will loose their WBBSC membership privileges.
{To whoever the Knuckle Heads are that are shooting at orange clay birds placed on the high power rifle 100 yard target frames, there is a bounty on your sorry hides. If ANYONE is observed shooting at ANY non-paper target your membership is at stake. NO EXCEPTIONS. Consider that club by Hartland that is in danger of being closed due to bullets going off club grounds. We do not want that to be us. PAPER TARGETS ONLY on rifle & pistol ranges. Also, it is believed that the target frames are being intentionally shot through causing the frame to break. This behavior too, if your observed doing this, will cost you your membership.}

Tom Derson, a WBBSC member and our National Rifle Association Captain, emailed this:
To All Sportsman Clubs:
This is a plea that all too often falls on deaf ears, tuned out ears, etc. The number of clubs that are prone to think that someone else is responsible for funding the organizations that back our right to own and use weapons in the pursuit of our hunting, plinking, target shooting, concealed carry rights and so forth. Well, I know better! The anti-gun factions are well organized and fully funded. We as Second Amendment supporters must do our part personally and in conjunction with our clubs find the funds that are necessary to combat the anti-gun advocates who want to take away and destroy our rights as sportsmen and gun owners. Just one cogent thought about all of you and your sportsman’s clubs: If you can’t own guns there will be no need for your clubs! Please rethink this scenario where someone else will fund our fight to preserve our Second Amendment Rights. It is not true, you and your clubs are the someone else. Dig deep and do your part to keep our shooting sports alive and well. One more thing, this is an on-going fight. Along with your support a one time, feel good donation doesn’t do it. The anti-gun owners never stop, so we have to continue the fight with ongoing support and unfortunately, this continues to cost money. The bottom line is that you are doing it for you and your rights, no one else. Take action.
Sincerely, A Staunch Second Amendment Supporter
