A message from Rob K., WBBSC Membership Admin:

"Hello WBBSC Members, a reminder for everyone to send in their membership renewals (must be postmarked by 12/31/2013).  If you have not filled out your renewal paperwork, please complete the entire form. We are trying to update every member's records and your signature at the bottom of the page is required.

Several members have returned their renewal forms with messages that they have been retired members for years. Unfortunately, I have no records to state how old you are. This is why updating your information is so important. Next year's renewal will be much smoother if I know you are 65 or older.

In addition to updating your personal information, please remember that if you are putting in service hours at the club grounds to reduce the cost of your membership, you MUST write down your hours.  This year I am calling people at the club who may be willing to vouch for you, I will NOT be doing this next year.  I am running into issues where existing members are not writing their hours worked into the books at the clubhouse and then trying to renew their membership at the reduced rate.  It is YOUR responsibility to write down your hours, do not expect anyone to do so for you.  Existing members with less than 24 hours worked will be charged $100 without exception.  (New members will be subject to the $100 renewal + minimum wage x 24 hours - any hours worked)

Any questions, or concerns, can be submitted to me by email at: memberadmin@wbbsc.com. Thank you all for your help, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

 Rob"

Heads UP Working Members: There is an initiative in place to build a structured process around providing opportunities to fulfill your work hours requirements. This will provide a method to define where, when and what, project and ground maintenance work is to be done. Progress on this will be posted at the WBBSC.com website, in newsletters, and at membership meetings. For now, please call Rick W., WBBSC VP (262) 483-6411 who will provide guidance as to what you can do to contribute to your work hours.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shoot at 1000 yds? A .22lr fired at 200yds approximates shooting your .308 at 1000 yds! All you need is 25 MOA adjustment in your scope and you are all set! This match is shot from the prone position with a front rest and rear rest (no one piece rests allowed), or from a sand bag or bipod. It will be restricted to .22lr caliber only, no .22 mags, .17 hmr, or .17 hm2. Empty chamber flags will be required and available at the range for a small fee if you do not have one. Target will be NRA TQ4 (with orange center) small-bore 100 yd rifle target set at 200yds. This gives it the correct ˝ moa x ring for F- Class. Match will be 2 sighters and 15 rounds for score in 17 min, change targets, and then 2 sighters and 15 for score in another 17 minutes for a total possible score of 300-30x.
